Utah Prep Students

Utah Preparatory students share common challenges stemming from self-defeating behaviors that have lead to academic setbacks. Professionals referring to our school see behaviors including:

  • Depression, anxiety, anger, low self concept
  • Withdrawal from family, rebellious behavior
  • Poor peer relationships, loss of interest in extracurricular sports/hobbies
  • Failing grades, learning style differences—ADD/HD
  • Substance abuse, self destructive behaviors

Our response to these behaviors is an integration of therapeutics with individualized academic support. In a setting that encourages self awareness while living in an environment that expects commitment to others, a student can grow to learn that in service to others they will find the strength and knowledge to help themselves.
